Nottingham – Additional HMO Licensing has been operating in Nottingham since January 2014 and is being proposed to continue for another five years from January 2024, once the existing scheme comes to an end on the 31st of December 2023.

The scheme is being proposed to tackle issues including anti-social behaviour, waste management and property disrepair.
The proposed scheme will impact Cira 3230 HMOs. Under the scheme, the fee to license an HMO in the designation area ranges from £1118.00 to £1993.00.
