Nicholas Humphreys Estate Agents have been trading for over 15 years. The company was started in Loughborough by Nick Humphreys in 1999 from his dining table, and quickly expanded. Now with a large network of owned and franchised offices across the UK, Nick and the directors are still involved in the business on a daily basis. Proud winners of the 2012 Negotiator letting agent of the year award, the company also invest a lot of time and money in to their charity, ‘The Nicholas Humphreys Foundation’. The charity holds many annual events, such as a Christmas ball, and charity golf day, and Nick has been a huge supporter of the Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough for many years.
Dan Strain and Jon MacDonald own and run the Nottingham branch, which was the first franchised office in the network, and opened as a field based operation in September 2012. We now operate from our newly refurbished office on Lenton Boulevard, employing five full time members of staff, and are proud sponsors of the University of Nottingham Hockey Team. We covers all areas of Nottingham, and house over 1500 students every year. We also let and manage professional properties, and sell investment properties.
Our proactive and hungry approach to business has meant that we have grown quickly. We are constantly striving to improve the business, and increase customer service levels. We are members of The Property Ombudsman, we are Unipol supporters, and Nicholas Humphreys are full members of the British Franchise association.
Of course, Dan and Jon are both proud members of EMPO, and have been exhibiting at the EMPO Landlord Expo since they’ve been in Nottingham.
